How does the Cloud Desktop work?

The Cloud Desktop is Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) built for SMEs.

• Operation: The Cloud Desktop is built on top of many servers in a secure datacentre, behind firewalls and multiple other security features. Each users' 'session' on the Cloud Desktop is shared amongst the servers for optimal loadbalancing, performance and redundancy.
• Backup: Backups occur in three major ways: on server (software), in datacentre (whole of machine), and off-site (different state and datacentre). This way we have multiple levels to choose from should we need to recover data.
• Location: The Cloud Desktop is hosted from two major datacentres in Australia.
